We were thrilled to be a part of this major renovation project in Chiswick as featured in The Sunday Times. The double fronted detached 5,100 sq ft property was remodelled over a two year period, retaining historical features, mixing mid-century furniture and incorporating new minimalist modern design.
Throughout the newly renovated home, our client selected our Manhattan shutter design with 89mm louvres in the following finishes: painted, natural oak and faux leather. Our modern wing-tipped louvres are controlled by a completely concealed tilting mechanism allowing all of the louvres to open and close together simply by tilting two louvres with your fingertips.
Tier on tier shutter are featured in the Lounge adding a sleek look to the contemporary décor. This versatile shutter style provides privacy whilst maximising light filtration into your room by allowing the top tier panels to be opened and folded back, whilst keeping the bottom closed for privacy. The bottom tier can also be opened, allowing full access to the window glazing.
At just over 2.2m tall, our tulipwood shutters were custom stained by hand to carefully match the beautiful vintage rosewood desk in the Study.
Our client’s bathrooms were inspired by the Gents at Lord’s. We designed and manufactured full height shutters with a midrail to offer full control of both privacy and light.
