FRAMES & BATTENS

Let your shutters fill the window with our unique hanging strips which offer a clean, uncluttered look.

BATTENS/HANGING STRIPS

Unlike any other shutter company, we install our shutters using customised batten strips which are fitted behind the shutters, either to the wall or to the window frame. The batten strips depths are adjusted according to your choice of louvre size and shutter design.

Uneven window openings are easily overcome as we design and manufacture customised and shaped battens/hanging strips which allows us to ensure a level fit.
On installation day, our custom made hinges are surface screwed to both the shutters and battens (or frames). Our shutters do not arrive pre framed or pre hinged.

L FRAMES

Create a border around your shutters or on the outside edges of your bay window. L Frames also work well if you would like your shutters built out from your walls.

Z FRAMES

If your shutters are to be fitted to the front of the window reveal, our Z Frame creates a border which will also help to cover any cracks or joints between the wall and frame.

FINISHES

Choose from eight different shutter finishes; from fabric, painted or stained, or natural wood.
